A Traditional Refresh
This was a 2019 remodel of a traditional space. We incorporated some French country, coastal, and craftsman elements into the formal dining and living spaces of a client with more traditional style.
We raised the sunken floors, switched around the purpose and orientation of the rooms, and added fresh new flooring, paint, and windows. The vastness of the ceilings made for a challenge, so we made a pattern out of four large gridded windows, and brought the space down with hanging chandeliers.
