Timeless Charm Multi Purpose Suite

This was a brand new build to accomodate both an office space and an area for guests. Since it was a smaller space that had to accomodate multiple furniture areas, the two things I wanted to make sure were incorporated to make the space feel more open and less cramped were 1) a vaulted ceiling and 2) doors to the outside. I wanted to keep it traditional but feel fresh, so we went with gridded casement windows and traditional moulding and millwork, but trimmed everything out with accessible beige for a modern, fresh feel. For the bathroom, I wanted it to feel like a hotel bathroom in Manhattan. We trimmed out a 2” marble octagon mosaic floor with a marble border, added a semi-gloss black 2/3 wall height box trim, a clawfoot tub, black toilet seat, chrome fixtures everywhere, and some European elements with an antique Italian marble table and gilded still life artwork.
